Australia a longggggg one :D part one

So i'm jetlagged out my head, its 230am although this probably wont appear for ages after lol, so right what was i doing ahhhh yess piccies from aussieland i apologise in advance i think its gonna be quite long hehehehe

Day 1 2, and also 3 (as we left on the 25th and got there on the 27th) Saturday, Sunday and Monday

isn't it nice terminal 3 has a tgi's in the departure lounge

some 14 hours later we arrive in singapore airport, which sadly is all we really got to see in ol 'pore, but hey its one pretty airport, it even has plants and lakes and scthuff so after a brief strech of the ole legs we're back on a plane and on route to sydney

(cheeky ciggie break) many more hours later we arrive in sydney, only to have another two hour car journey to my aunts house in wyong, pretty jetlagged when we get in so its pretty much an early night the first day.

Day 4 Tuesday

my aunt, me and steve outside a rather huge shopping centre in wyong. you gotta love that name, wyong hehe, so yeah after a bit of the ole shopping its off to the beach

building our masterpiece sand castle, which was a bit of a failure really we couldnt swim cuz of evil jelly fish, i swear australia is all about the "look but don;t touch" stuff its entirely unfair me says!!

after the beach we go to this lil pier bit which is covered in pelicans and get to witness a trully stunning electrical storm, sadly as much as i tried i never captured the lightening on the camera

got back to the house to see the pool was filled up so in we went

me gettin tossed around like a rag doll grrrr i nearly drank half the pool water...

Day 5 Wednesday

get up ridiculously early yet again, and its off to Chris and Nic's in Sydney, on a rather mad train journey, triple decker trains they have!!!!! its a very pretty journey but i swear my one biggest complaint with australia (other than the flies and bloody bugs) is how the air con is bloody freezing everywhere, literally had to use towels as blankets on the train to keep warm.

arrived in sydney about midday, went to chris & nic's flat which was damn stunning and then of to the city we went

after a little walk through the city north, we jumped on a ferry to Manley (best name for a place ever lol) and as it was a pretty galeish day the water was a right laugh to be on, some of the smaller boats looked like they were gonna capsize!!

Chris in a funky bar we went to for lunch in Manley, we ate some pretty manly burgers and everything

after some lunch it was off to the beach

nightime we went for mexican in a place that was either called new town or old town, i can't for the life of me remember lol, anyway it was kinda like Sydney's camden with crazy shops and bars and stuff, we had some rather glorious fajitas (although the lack of jalapenos did seem odd) and chili shots that were actually quite nice and a rather beutiful jug of sangria mmmmmmmm

after that we went to Chris' old local where we played some more pool, there was a cool bluesy band playing there too, but the main entertainment were these two guys who just kept rapping random gibberish the whole time we were there, was pretty hillarious!!! and here they are:

Day 6 Thursday

wake up to be told we're going to get to go sky walking on sydney's centre point (highest building) as a bday present from chris and nic which was pretty much the acest present ever, pics of that will follow shortly. so yeah chris and nic had to do their airport rounds for other friends who were arriving, so me and steve got to use their pool facilities, which was pretty cool, and i mean that literally an absolutely freezing swimming pool it was, after that rather cold experience we went off to the city to sky walk!

130 we got to centre point (yes they have stolen all our names heheh) and got all kitted up for the skywalk, which basically entails walking around a glass see through platform that extends out over the city from the top, its quite a breath taking experience looking down on sydeny from that height and one i dont think ill ever forget the tour guide was really ace too! anyway here are some piccies

finally made it back to the flat to get ready for drinks at the Watershed on the harbour to welcome all of Chris' mates.

Day 7 Friday My Bday
Got up to a 35 degree day, now i cant describe how surreal it is to accept its your birthday when its that hot out there lol, so while chris and nic were packing things up so we could drive back to wyong me and steve went out for some brekkie and poooool goodness

and back to wyong we trekked

my lil bday cake, i didnt like the fact you could swap the cakes and make it say 42, i was starting to think life really does go by in a blink hehe

after candle antics it was off to Rafferty's the Lake resort the wedding was going to be at.

Day 8 - The Wedding

all in all it was the best wedding i think i've ever been to, amazing scenery, awesome atmosphere, great music, the blisters on my toes weren't pretty after all the dancing, you gotta love weddings free random booze coming at you from every angle, (ok so my vodkas were the only alchohol at the wedding that cost anything yeah oops lol)
Day 9

after brekkie at the resort it was back to wyong to prepare for the after wedding bbq party sadly due to complete tiredness i didnt really get too many photos of this day other than the decorations lol

Day 10 - Back to Sydney Darling Harbour

no matter how many i saw i did not get used to the christmas trees!!!

after a little wonder round the harbour we went to a crazy seafood restaurant, i actually tried a bit of lobster and crab, they were pretty bland, steve did try some squid though which was rather impressive. after lunch it was off to sea lunch in action at the aquarium, yes i know a bit sick really :s

after a trip to Henry's pies to have rather scrummy chilli dogs off home we were,
Day 11
nearing the end, we decide to go have some craziness in the local shopping centre, have lunch in an awesome Texas style saloon place, the have whole jalepenos on plates whole i tells ya, and after the best lunch i think i've ever had and a damn good creamy cocktail its off to the shops to purchase crazy things, including two remote control cars which prooved loads of fun in the garden when we got back and about $200 worth of booze to make cocktails with, i also got my cocktail shaker so i am a happy bunny

back to Wyong, after a taxi failed to arrive after two hours, i swear there is such a thing as being too laid back about work!!! grrrrr!! hehe and it was my cousins daughter bday bash, although me and steve spent most of the time arguing over the lilo in the pool nah not really but lets say i got my revenge on being thrown around mwahahahaha

its all about chuck norris!

Day 12 - Bye Bye Aussieland

all in all it was an amazing holiday just not enough time, only complaint is the evils of the weather which meant we never got to do sky diving what with its 2 days prior booking and no refunds if weather is rough still i guess it leaves something crazy to look forward to do, which with the current anti climax and get lag from hell is pretty welcome.
oh yeah on more complaint i didnt see a single kangaroo or koala!!! now that is just shocking and wrong! hehe
anyways thanks for wasting your time reading hehehe they'll probably be more photos if i can be bothered laters lol!!!

So its Monday again ho hum is it me or do the weeks go by quicker every time, I swear the only mission I have left is to defy time and believe me I will find a way oh yes!!!!!! Heheheh anyways I hope you've noticed the foxy new player although at the moment it can only handly about 20mb and flv format (this is quite easy to do u just need a converter like flash 8 or anything which will convert ur vid to flash format before u upload it, worry not we will eventually be doing the converting but for now it's the best we can do )

Hehehehe hmmmmm what else ah yes the art section is a bit jumbled but the edit feature is now there so u can fix errors and move pictures that have accidently jumped in the wrong folders sorry bout that hehe
Genres are being added within the next day too, I'm just trying to make a list of every possible one so it can be alphabetical and neat etc,

Also the get code feature now appears in view all tracks and view all vids so you can add any songs or vids (or entire playlists if u want) to any website including your profile here and yes u can even put it on ur myspace or other accounts and show em how much better our player is hehe

When it comes to website promoting don't stay in definitely have the right idea, they took these pics on fri at the egg club (yes a bit wasted I know )

but they gave us flyers so we could find the photos online, methinks this method of advertising must be employed once we have the events section up hehehe

in other news JACK DANIELS official birthday bash (I dunno why but I've decided its official and since none of us won the trip to tenessee will have to do hehe) is on 23rd chez moi (at my house just in case lol) so yeah bring something jd related I don't care what just something hehehehe and we shall party big styleee, hmmm if anyone can think of a way of incorporating some kinda dress up which is jd related lemme know and we shall have to do it heheheh so yeh watch this space for more details (ah how I wish we had events up for stuff like this lol)

ok so i've finally managed to calm down enough to write something slightly sensible heheheh or have I? hehe anyway shall start with the pregig photos (thanks to paul and tams for sending me em )

now departing the pub onwards to the gig of gigs we went much drama followed including paul succusfully managing to loose his wallet and then find it on the bar many minutes later!!! only such like would come your way young lad, especially when you were threatening to kill people lol!!! support bands didnt really interest me at all so spent the time chilling and chatting with some rather old skool fans who had seen them back in 99 :'( how i sooo wanted to go and actually admiting to these 40 somethings that the reason i didnt was "daddy didnt let me back then" felt entirely appauling lol although its nice to feel young sometimes hehehehe
so finally buckcherry come on the stage and oh my from start to finish i dont think ive experienced anything quite so exquisite gig wise!!!!!

this may sound a bit odd, but does anyone ever get a feeling in one particular season that makes it feel like the complete opposite one for one split second, or at least makes you wish it was, its usually all kinda sensory related , like a scent or sound or something, but ive been gettin it loads this week, and for som reason i keep thinking of nov 5th, when the weather was really warm the other day i just suddenly got this winter feeling of fireworks night lol!!! im not sure why i felt the need to write about it here lol but yeh im kinda looking forward to the chilly months, and even more so christmas even though im not gonna feel christmas much this year cuz of sunny oz lol but its gonna be mad coming straight bck to it cant wait itll be the frist time i can actually feel that transistion of seasons and ill see if its as cool as im hoping lol!!!! ok end of random speech hehehehe

to all you foos who didnt come on sat u missed out on a scorcher of a night :P firstly thanks to pauls ingenius intelect we all got in freeee!! yes freeeeeee saving the four of us something like £50 (although tami paying £21 for me and her to have doubles didnt feel as grand but damn was that one strong vodka!!!!!!!!) lol
personally i had a spectacular night hehehe although i died early due to evil shoes, ah the woes of being female i think ive figured out the only reason ive been going to metal clubs all this time, i can wear boots and boots are comfy to dance in lol!!!! anyways was an awesome night much dancing fun was had!!!! how i misssssedd it!!! im now gonnago and find me some comfy nice shoes so next time i wont die lol!!!! anyways yes photo time sadly i only have the pre club piccies but once i steal more from tamsiwamsi i shall add em lol

in other news i saw team america last night, i m entirely shocked that i am alive to reccount it though as i swear to god i have never died so much from laughing in my life!!!!!!! absolutely classsss film!!!!!!!! gonna prob have to watch it another 100 times though cuz im sure i missed alot while i was gagging!! hehe
so that was spctacular, as was fear and loathing in las vegas although johnny depp balding was an entirely terrifying site!!!! lol!!! i now fear random bat attacks!!!
